Ferrying our RV from Maine to Nova Scotia, Canada!

We’re officially in Canada, y’all—and how we got there was half the adventure! This week, we take our RV in reverse onto a high-speed ferry from Maine to Nova Scotia (and yes, we included some classic clips of my finest backup fails too). Nathan did the ferry parking, but I owned my backing “track record,” bless it. From there, it was all about charming towns, emotional memorials, and jaw-dropping views.

We met some incredibly kind Canadians, shared a campsite with a stranger (by surprise), visited a haunted fort (maybe), and took a moment at the Titanic cemetery that really put this whole journey in perspective.

Also—shower update: after four days, we finally got one, and it was glorious.

If you've ever considered traveling to Nova Scotia or want to know what it's like to ferry with your home-on-wheels, this one’s for you.

Just saw that you are in Nova Scotia. My husband and I love Graves Island. There is a great bike trail that you can connect to from there. The trail actually goes from Halifax to Lunenburg. The section near Graves Island is called the Chester Connection Trail. Also, if you want an epic hike you should check out Gaff Point Trail off of Hirtle's Beach just below Lunenburg. Some other great and maybe lesser known places to explore are Balancing Rock Trail, Brier Island Lighthouse, Burntcoat Head Park, Truro Tidal Boar Viewing Visitor Center, and Victoria Park. Just some ideas for you to consider while traveling through Nova Scotia.
